Oncology in the news: Connect with Fortrea at ASCO and access our recent webinars
The 2024 ASCO Annual Meeting is here!
Once again Fortrea’s team of oncologists and trial delivery specialists is headed to the ASCO annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois. We hope you will stop by booth #10092 to connect with us about your clinical trial programs and how we might accelerate development of your cancer therapeutics, devices, and diagnostics. We know your ASCO experience will be a busy time, so we would love to schedule a meeting at your convenience. Just stop by our booth and we will schedule a time that works for you.
While at our booth, please join us in supporting #GildasClubChicago by building a personalized care package for a pediatric, teen, or adult cancer patient. Learn more about this important initiative at the Fortrea ASCO24 website.

In addition to these ASCO highlights we wish to thank all those who attended our recent webinars:
“Accelerating Clinical Development through Design, Diversity & Digitalization in Oncology and Beyond.” In this dynamic panel-style webinar, our speakers explored how to speed drug development and improve return on investment (ROI) by adopting a “3-D” approach to trials focusing on design, diversity and digitalization. The need to improve geographical, racial, ethnic and other forms of diversity and inclusion in trials —including new legislation and regulatory guidance documents to spur adoption of diverse trials — has been at the forefront of the industry for several years. The speakers discussed what has worked and what still needs to be done, and how new tools, digital and mobile health and other innovative approaches can lead the way. For those that were unable to attend the webinar live, you can view the replay here!
“Advancing Cell and Gene Therapy Trial Ecosystems in the Asia-Pacific Region.” This hybrid webinar event featured both online and live audiences in APAC. Participants gained an in-depth understanding of the opportunities of cell and gene therapeutic product development and market entry strategies in this fast-evolving industry. Viewers had a chance to investigate the prospectus of operational excellence, investigator engagement, as well as patient recruitment to accelerate the journey. Additionally, we explored Fortrea’s solution for navigating the complexity of clinical studies in cell and gene therapy and understand the best practices in supporting the success of both emerging biotech and large pharmaceutical sponsors. If you didn’t have a chance to catch the live event, you can view the recording here! (note to legal team: the registration link at the event page will be replaced with the recording by the time this blog goes live)
